Experience
Kelly McCloskey Cherf has extensive experience in civil and commercial
litigation. Mrs. Cherf is an accomplished litigator in all aspects of
trial and appellate proceedings in State and Federal courts and also
has represented clients in administrative proceedings and arbitrations.
She has represented corporate and individual clients in matters related
to products liability, class actions, trademark infringement, business
disputes, corporate and partnership disputes, employment disputes, breach
of contract, business torts, professional malpractice, fraud and creditor's
rights. She also has represented government and commercial entities
in cases involving government contracts, grants and audits and regulatory
disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Cherf was the name partner
in the Chicago law firm of O'Rourke McCloskey & Moody. She also
worked in the Washington D.C. office of Thompson Hine.
Education
Mrs. Cherf received her Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from George Washington
University National Law Center in 1990 and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics,
Cum Laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1987.
Professional Memberships/Activities
Mrs. Cherf was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 1994. She also is a member
of the Indiana, District of Columbia and Virginia Bars. She joined Hogan
Marren, Ltd. in 2004.
