Experience
In May, 2005, Limo T. Cherian joined the firm. Ms. Cherian is a skilled litigator with extensive experience in civil and commercial litigation. She has extensive experience in trial proceedings in State and Federal courts across the United States, as well as in administrative proceedings and arbitrations. She has represented governmental, corporate and individual clients in matters related to energy performance contracting, class actions, corporate and partnership disputes, employment litigation, products liability, business torts, professional malpractice and defamation. Ms. Cherian's corporate litigation experience includes securities litigation, shareholder disputes and corporate financial fraud claims. She also has significant experience representing government and private entities in matters involving government contracts, grants and audits and regulatory enforcement matters. She has experience in appellate practice both in federal and state courts. In addition to her litigation experience, Ms. Cherian has worked with clients in an advisory capacity on contract matters to help them achieve successful resolution of disputes without litigation. Prior to joining Hogan Marren, Ms. Cherian was a partner at O'Rourke McCloskey & Moody. She also served as an Assistant Attorney General with the Office of the Illinois Attorney General.
